Irish training wizard Aidan O’Brien has described his star Australian import So You Think as a horse “you don’t see very often”.
A dual Cox Plate winner when trained in Australia by the great Bart Cummings, So You Think has burst onto the European scene with two effortless wins at his first two northern hemisphere starts.
The Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot is his next assignment after his win in the Group One Tattersalls Gold Cup earlier this week.
“With So You Think the plan is to go to the Prince of Wales’s. He looks very special and is an incredible athlete – he just does everything so incredibly easily it’s hard to believe,” O’Brien told the Press Association.
“He’s incredibly exciting and something like him you don’t see very often.
“There’s a chance that we’ve never seen anything like this horse before so we’re just so grateful and privileged to have him.”
